meanwhile in Iceland...

...the government had thought of a way to pay off their debts to British creditors. Knowing of our fondness for fish and chips they issued a new currency. Expect large mountains of cod to be piled up outside your local authority headquarters any day now-in these areas.

£1 per cod!!

I just paid just under £3 for enough boned cod-loin to feed me and my missus a meagre lunch.

A whole cod would have cost at least £30

Well that's because the people of iceland have been stockpiling them in vaults for centuries, they are having to give them away now!
